WINNERS
Thanks to everyone who took the time to enter. We had many entries that were both funny and emotional and many comments that question 4 was just too hard and 'we gave up.'
However Pai made a 'live' draw on Facebook announcing the winners who are...drum roll......
1. Vanessa Spooner from Invercargill
2. Angie Thomas from Northland
3. Justine Read-Bloomfield also from New Zealand.
If you could contact Paitangi with a postal address your print will be in the mail at the earliest opportunity.
Congratulations to the winners and to all who took part in this competition..
the entry way to the new building includes a looping video of a traditional wero / challenge and our own Paitangi in her role as Kaikaranga
From a very early age this young man always saw himself one day wearing the facial moko as our ancestors once did

2023 … Austria and Munich here I come ☺️
After five years I will be returning to Europe . Starting the tour on 26 July to Vienna . My hosts for Vienna are Stefan and Barbara who I have tattooed in Munich and also in New Zealand ,so this is really exciting to be able to tattoo in a new country. From Austria it will be a return to my second homeland Munich where I haven’t been for the last five years due to the pandemic. Apart from tutoring it’s going to be great to catch up with the German whanau and to walk the familiar streets and of course the English Garden that had saved my sanity on many past trips will be back on my daily hikoi and swim routine ….
Well kia ora Breitenbrunn Austria 🇦🇹 my first 4 weeks I am here in this beautiful part of Austria “ Burgenland” .
Having inked both Barbera and Stephan in both Munich and NZ the invitation for them to host me in Austria was an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down … my time with this whanau was the perfect way to begin what will be a long tour….
