Paitangi Features at the new Waitangi Museum

The new Waitangi Museum houses important historical artifacts and explains the events surrounding the first colonial incursion by the British Empire and interactions with ,Maori, the first inhabitants of New Zealand. With incredible audiovisual installations by Dan Mace of r3mote, the entry way to the new building includes a looping video of a traditional wero / challenge and our own Paitangi in her role as Kaikaranga, the voice that calls manuhiri / onto the land that holds the museum.
